About Us

Founded in 1998 in Pittsburgh, PA, Triad USA, Inc., is an employee benefits consulting firm whose Principals bring more than 80 years of combined experience of the insurance industry and posses unsurpassed knowledge of the marketplace and of all carriers. We strive to develop methodologies and benefit plans specifically tailored to the unique requirements and expectations of each of our clients.

Gus Georgiadis serves as President and managing partner, and in addition to Principals Jim Patton and Jim McTiernan, Triad currently employs seven experienced client managers who provide a wide range of professional services to our clients, interact with carriers and conduct financial and utilization analyses.

Triad is fully licensed by the Pennsylvania Insurance Department for all health and welfare lines, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability; as well as the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance for Accident and Health, Casualty and Allied Lines, Life and Fixed Annuities. In addition, all carriers in Pennsylvania license Triad as an agency.

 

Our Team

Gus P. Georgiadis
President and Co-founder

Before establishing Triad, Georgiadis was Executive Vice President for Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, the eighth largest health insurer in the United States.

He has more than 25 years of executive experience in the insurance, financing and health care delivery fields, and has directed several key businesses including sales and marketing, integrated healthcare delivery, consumer products and Medicare/Medicaid. Georgiadis led the startup of new business ventures, product development initiatives and has directed significant business re-engineering and process improvement efforts.

Georgiadis is recognized as an expert in employee benefit plans and programs, and healthcare delivery and financing. He routinely addresses on a national basis employee benefits, and health and wellness issues.

Georgiadis earned a Political Science and Business degree from Westminster College and completed Executive Leadership studies at Duke University, Fuqua School of Business.

James H. McTiernan
Principal and Co-founder

During his 28-year career in the employee benefits field, McTiernan has established himself as a recognized expert in the development and delivery of welfare benefit plans for all types of purchasers. This expertise includes plan design, finance, risk management, quality assessment, labor relations and performance measurement.

Before creating Triad, McTiernan established a significant career in a variety of benefit plan management positions with one of the nation’s largest insurers, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. This included tenure as Director of National Accounts. In this position, he had direct responsibility for the management of numerous Fortune 500 employee benefit programs and established a reputation of aligning unique client needs with appropriate products and services. In addition, he managed the development and implementation of several benefit plan delivery models which included groundbreaking performance standards and measurement techniques that resulted in significant client service and satisfaction levels.

McTiernan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dayton.

James J. Patton
Principal

He has over 20 years of experience in the employee benefit field. He is recognized as an expert in all aspects of benefit plans with a special expertise in financial analysis, plan funding and risk management.

Prior to joining Triad he served as Director, Sales and Marketing for UPMC Health Plan. Patton was directly responsible for the acquisition and management of mid to large size accounts and was instrumental in the plans achieving significant growth.

Patton also enjoyed an over ten-year career with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. During his tenure, he held a variety of positions including Senior Auditor, Senior Financial Analyst, Manager of Group Accounting and Senior Client Manager. As a Senior Client Manager, he was directly responsible for the management of several large national accounts.

Patton holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from West Virginia University. In addition, he has completed significant post baccalaureate studies at Robert Morris College.

Deborah M. Blaha
Account Executive

Blaha possess over 15 years experience in employee benefits and account management.

She effectively manages small, mid-size and large accounts spanning a vast array of industries. She is directly involved in all facets of account administration and renewals, in addition to implementing wellness programs with key accounts. Blaha oversees all aspects of the client relationship while partnering with all members of the Triad team to ensure our value added services deliver unparalleled results.

Prior to joining Triad, Blaha worked as an Account Manager with The Hartford, as an Associate for Mercer Health & Benefits, and as a Benefits Representative in the employee benefits department with Wells Fargo. She also worked in Human Resources as a Benefits Administrator for Mellon Bank and Waste Management.

Blaha attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Management. In addition, she earned the designation of Group Benefits Disability Specialist (GBDS) while employed at The Hartford as well as the sub-designation of Group Benefits Administrator (GBA). Currently, Blaha is studying to complete the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation.

Bridgette C. McGibbeny
Account Executive

McGibbeny has been a vital part of our team since 2009.

She specializes in coordinating benefit plan marketing efforts while acting as the liaison between clients and insurance carriers to manage issues such as claims, billing and implementation.

Prior to joining the Triad Team, McGibbeny began her career in the insurance industry in 1999, working in claims and underwriting with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. Following her tenure with Highmark, she moved to Wyoming where she continued to work with the Blues as a Marketing and Sales Specialist. Upon returning to Pittsburgh in 2005, McGibbeny expanded her opportunities into the broker world gaining valuable knowledge and hands on experience managing client relations.

McGibbeny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Gannon University. She is currently studying to obtain her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation from the accredited International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (ISCEBS) and maintains a Pennsylvania insurance license for Life, Accident and Health.

Angela M. Piermani
Account Executive

Piermani has over 10 years of for-profit and non-profit human resources experience.

She specializes in managing relations with small to mid-size groups spanning all types of industries. In her role with Triad, she is largely responsible for compliance management and wellness initiatives, as well as financial renewals. Piermani effectively handles all aspects of the client relationship and serves as an integral member of the Triad team.

Prior to joining Triad, Piermani held the position of Senior Human Resources Generalist for a non-profit organization, where she served on their merger and acquisition due diligence team, and wellness and risk management committees.

Piermani began her career with Bank of NY Mellon, where she gained extensive knowledge and achieved considerable success in a variety of positions including Benefits Specialist and Human Resources Generalist during her eight-year tenure.

Piermani holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Duquesne University. In addition, she obtained PHR certification in 2002 and continues to maintain this recognized credential.

Bridget M. Sinneway
Senior Account Executive

Sinneway has over 16 years of health insurance and management experience.

She has wide-ranging knowledge of managing groups of all industry types and sizes. As a senior lead, she performs multiple functions, including daily account administration, financial renewal and service management, communications, strengthening client relationships and partnering with Triad Principals and other members of the team to ensure client satisfaction.

Prior to joining Triad, Sinneway worked as a client manager in the benefits department with Wells Fargo and at UPMC as a client manager, managing key accounts. Also employed by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield for seven years, Sinneway held a variety of positions including account service manager, retail sales representative and member service representative.

For three years, Sinneway managed several McDonald’s corporate restaurants, where she developed strong interpersonal and employee relation skills.

Sinneway attended the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.

Racquel M. Sullivan
Account Executive

Sullivan has been an integral part of our team for over five years.

She has extensive experience managing large accounts and being a fundamental part of the day-to-day, direct needs of her clients. In her role with Triad, Sullivan performs numerous functions including daily account administration, service management, compliance management and communications - this includes developing and managing all aspects of the client relationship, partnering with the Triad Principals and other members of the team to ensure client satisfaction. Sullivan has also been instrumental in developing and implementing several successful wellness initiatives.

Prior to joining Triad, Sullivan served as a Regional Sales Representative for Yves Saint Laurent, where she built her foundation in account and service management, as well as employee relations.

Sullivan attended Seton Hill University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Graphic Design.

Beth A. Viskovicz
Account Executive

Viskovicz possess a vast knowledge in the fields of health insurance and marketing.

She manages the administration of several key accounts while effectively interacting closely with clients and carriers to ensure our clients’ expectations are exceeded. In addition, she develops, directs and administers all aspects of event management while serving as the communications specialist for the organization. Viskovicz effectively partners with all members of the team to ensure Triad delivers impeccable service and client satisfaction.

Viskovicz has extensive Marketing expertise. Prior to joining Triad, she was the Marketing Manager for a manufacturer of commercial strength training equipment. She was responsible for all marketing related functions, including developing communications, advertising, public relations, website content, tradeshow and event management. She also held the position of Marketing Coordinator for a computer software company for three years where she effectively developed a strong foundation in marketing.

Earlier in her career, she also worked for Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield for three years specializing in the Senior Products market.

Viskovicz attended the University of Pittsburgh where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Rhetoric and Point Park University where she earned a Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Meghann C. Woycheck
Account Executive

Woycheck has been a vital part of our team since 2003.

Woycheck has broad experience managing and servicing accounts. In her role with Triad, Woycheck performs numerous functions including daily account administration, service management, conference planning and management, and partnering with the Triad Principals and other members of the team to ensure client satisfaction.

Prior to joining Triad, Woycheck served in retail sales for six years and customer service for three years, where she built her foundation in account and service management, as well as customer relations.

Woycheck attended Pennsylvania State University, The Behrend College, where she studied to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics.
