Gus P. Georgiadis
Gus P. Georgiadis is the founder and president of Triad USA. Before establishing Triad USA, Georgiadis was Executive Vice President for Highmark, Inc., the eighth largest health insurer in the United States.
He has more than 14 years of executive experience in the insurance, financing and health care delivery fields, and has directed several key businesses including integrated healthcare delivery, consumer products and Medicare/Medicaid. Georgiadis led the startup of new business ventures, product development initiatives and has directed significant business re-engineering and process improvement efforts.
Georgiadis is recognized as an expert in employee benefit plans and programs, and healthcare delivery and financing.
Georgiadis earned a Political Science and Business degree from Westminster College and completed Executive Leadership studies at Duke University, Fuqua School of Business
James H. McTiernan
James H. McTiernan is a principal and co-founder of Triad USA.
During a twenty-plus year career in the employee benefits field, he has established himself as a recognized expert in the development and delivery of welfare benefit plans for all types of purchasers. This expertise includes plan design, finance, risk management, quality assessment, labor relations and performance measurement.
Before creating Triad USA, McTiernan established a significant career in a variety of benefit plan management positions with one of the nation’s largest insurers. This included a tenure as Director of National Accounts. In this position, he had direct responsibility for the management of numerous Fortune 500 employee benefit programs and established a reputation of aligning unique client needs with appropriate products and services. In addition, he managed the development and implementation of several benefit plan delivery models which included ground-breaking performance standards and measurement techniques that resulted in significant client service and satisfaction levels.
McTiernan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dayton.
James J. Patton
James J. Patton is a principal with Triad USA.
He has over 13 years of experience in the employee benefit field. He is recognized as an expert in all aspects of benefit plans with a special expertise in financial analysis, plan funding and risk management.
Prior to joining Triad USAhe served as Director, Sales and Marketing for UPMC Health Plan. Patton was directly responsible for the acquisition and management of mid to large size accounts and was instrumental in the plans achieving significant growth.
Patton also enjoyed an over ten-year career with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. During his tenure, he held a variety of positions including Senior Auditor, Senior Financial Analyst and Senior Client Manager. As a Senior Client Manager, he was directly responsible for the management of several large national accounts.
Patton holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from West Virginia University. In addition, he has completed significant post baccalaureate studies at Robert Morris College.
